Empowering Women Everywhere
“Getting in shape shouldn’t feel forced. It’s a lifestyle decision that anyone can achieve”
I had always been active from a very young age playing all kinds of sports at school, netball, hockey, athletics. I took up karate and Kickboxing as a hobby and I loved it. I started going to the gym and always took my friends with me and always encouraged them to workout. This is what I enjoyed and I understood that my passion was in fitness and making people feel good.
It wasn’t until my mid twenties that I started getting into weight training and was in awe at how strong these fitness models looked and it was inspiring.
I loved the way exercise made me feel about myself. Fitness to me is not just about being fit, but so much more than that.
It has really helped me mentally and helps give me a better outlook on life.
I know it may sound cliche, but fitness really has changed my outlook towards life and brought so much more purpose into my world.
Before I decided to become a fitness coach, I worked in the finance sector for 10 years, but I just wasn’t passionate about it and realized I wasn’t serving my life's purpose. Us, as women are so easy to criticize ourselves or others for the way we look and we’ve definitely seen this in the media for a majority of our lives. But it shouldn’t be that way, we need to support each other, uplift each other and never put each other down as women.
We women go through so many changes throughout our life, our hormones play such a huge role that can really impact our health and weight fluctuations. We need to learn and accept ourselves at all stages of life which is why I want to help women create the happiest and healthiest versions of themselves. This is a lifestyle for me and I genuinely LOVE to train and eat well to fuel my body. I indulge when the time is right, and now have self control.
